I recently bought a 32 LCD HDTV 720p. My question is what are the optimal settings for both HDTV Settings and HDMI Colorspace? I know it depends on personal preferences a lot though.

When I am trying to connect my DVD player (LG DVX9900) to my new HDTV (TH-42PX77U) with component cables (red, blue, green + red and white for audio) I can only get sound but no picture! Why? The instructions seem pretty straight forward, but I can't understand why it's not ...

I'm looking forward to purchasing a flat screen HDTV soon very soon, however some of these prices are outrageous. Has anyone purchased any of the above items which is a better choice.

Its a Soniq 42 inch plasma QSP40T with inbuilt HDTV tuner.
There is no where to connect the audio cables. The red and white cables.
