What is the cheapest(in cost), about 35-45, hdtv for a new ps3 system?

i am planning on buying a ps3 and i dont have an hdtv yet and dont want to pay too much for a new one. about 42 is a good size hdtv but i dont know what price to expect. Thanks for all the help guys.

    For gaming I suggest you should go with LCD TV.Samsung or Sony are great brand,Good quality,Great picture.Samsung LN40A550 40 1080p is $956

    Buy an LCD. If you want something cheap I would go for a Vizio, but if you want a TV that is best for the PS3 and of great picture quality I would say a Sony, you can find a 42” for about $1,100.00.

    There’s a pretty big price gap between 35 and 45 LCD HDTVs. The best deals I’m seeing are coming from on-line from reputable on-line retails (e.g. amazon, buy.com, etc…). Not all LCD HDTVs are created equal. To get the most out of that PS3 you’ll probably want to make sure the HDTV can do 1080p. A lot of retailers such as Wal*Mart are selling 720p LCD HDTVs for $500-$700. There’s nothing wrong with these sets, but the PS3 can output 1080p and Blu-Ray movies will look best at 1080p (especially if you choice to go with a 40 screen).
