Because even though it’s HD that’s not actually a very good resolution. As you can see from the curvature of the horizon it’s at quite a height, (100 km). At that height the ground resolution is roughly 10m per pixel, the landing module (diagnoally including the legs) was 9.4m so less than a pixel. The did take pictures of the site showing discolouration consistent with the ascent stage take off, and plotted the surrounding terrain showing it to be the same as the NASA photography.

After the video has loaded completely, move the slider back and forth. You can see the tridimensionality of the moon’s surface and the earth movement on the sky will look more natural

Can someone tell me why this advanced imaging device flew over the landing sites of several of the Apollo Missions and couldn’t get pictures of the so called equipment that was left behind? In the show “Direct from the Moon” they talked about the fly over and the great shots it got but didn’t show these areas instead cut away to old Nasa clips astronauts talking about the landings. I would really like to see some of the equipment /or even better the USA flag that was planted.
    Hmmmmm?

No stars on either, you think maybe it is because of what you have been told over and over .
Go outside on your well lit street on the next clear night and take a picture of the stars in the sky and then go look at your pictures. And guess what? You will find that NASA and the US Government have somehow taken the stars out of you pictures because they are evil NAZIS. They do this with the power of Baal worship. You can’t prove it but you know it is true.

The reason there aren’t any stars in both the Apollo 8 Earthrise photo and this video has to do the limitations of photography. Because the moon is lit by the sun, it is very bright. In order to take a properly exposed picture, the aperture size, shutter speed, or both are decreased. In comparison to the sun, stars are very dim. When the exposure is properly adjusted to get a discernable photo of the moon and earth, the stars are too dim to be seen.
