What do I need to hook up my computer to my HDTV?

April 12th, 2009 | by admin |

I have a 52 flat screen Sharp HDTV 1080p. I have a desktop Packard, newer (unsure of the make/or model).
I want to hook up my computer to the TV. How do I do this and what do I need? Can you please be specific. What color should the end of the cords be (If it matters) and how do I hook it up. Thanks so much!

to hook it up in HD you will need a HD capable graphics card (which you probly dont have) but to just hook it up to your tv then you need to get a vga female to vga female D-Sub cable :)

If you don’t have a DVI in on your TV, then use the HDMI. Get a DVI to HDMI cable.

    cheers
