If I get an HDTV capture card for my computer, how can I get the HDTV signal from my receiver to my computer which on the other side of my house? Is there anyway I can use like slingbox or something?

I have a 37 inch Vizio HDTV and an S-cable. I've connected the computer to the TV via S-cable but there are no S-video inputs on the TV menu. I have component 1 component 2, HDMI 1 and 2, AV 1 and 2 but nothing for S-video. ...
